Welcoming Future Gaels: Highlights from Saint Mary’s Fall Open Houses

Stella Crupi '28
On October 18 and 21, Saint Mary’s held two amazing open houses that welcomed prospective students and their families into our school community. Both events were a tremendous success, bringing together an abundance of student volunteers, dedicated faculty members, and many potential new additions to our Saint Mary’s family.
Throughout the open houses, visitors had the opportunity to explore the school on tours, learn more about the many academic and extracurricular opportunities available, and experience what makes Saint Mary’s such a special place to learn and grow.

Student volunteers played a central role in making these events successful by giving tours, answering questions, and proudly representing our school. Their enthusiasm and willingness to give their time demonstrated the strong sense of community and school spirit that Saint Mary’s holds itself up to.

"Once again, we had a wonderful and well-attended Open House! I was so impressed by the commitment of our faculty and students to showcasing the very best of our school. The smiles on families’ faces as they departed reflected the warm welcome they received and the positive impression made by our students and faculty."

This statement highlights the hard work, dedication, and kindness that made both events so memorable. The open houses allowed prospective families to see firsthand the welcoming environment that Saint Mary’s provides and to better understand the values, traditions, and opportunities that make our school unique.

From the helpful student guides to the welcoming faculty members, everyone contributed to creating a positive experience for visitors. These events were also a wonderful opportunity for current students to take pride in their school and share their experiences with families who may soon become part of the Saint Mary’s community.

Ultimately, the success of the October 18 and 21 open houses reflects the teamwork and commitment of our students, faculty, and staff. Their efforts helped make both days memorable and demonstrated the strength of the Saint Mary’s community. We are grateful to everyone who volunteered their time and energy to make these events possible, and we look forward to welcoming future students and their families to Saint Mary’s!
