Catholic Life

Our Catholic Faith

Coming from the Greek, kath’holos, according to the whole, our first pillar at the Schools of Saint Mary is our Catholic faith.
God has revealed to us the truth that sets us free through His Son, Jesus, and through His Holy Spirit.  This embrace of the truth leads us to know that God is love.  Thus, our Catholic Faith illuminates our understanding of the world, ourselves and one another even as it discloses to God.  Without God, there is no human race.  With God, the human race can achieve its noble destiny as spiritual beings capable of fulfilling our vocation as creatures made in the image and likeness of God.
Rev. Father Dominik Wegiel, School Chaplin
