Detective Jonathan Diller Memorial Scholarship
In the spring of 2024, the Saint Mary's High School community was deeply impacted by the death of our brother in Christ, NYPD Detective Jonathan Diller, who was a member of the Class of 2010.
St. Mary's High School is pleased to announce the establishment of a scholarship fund in his name. This fund will serve as a testament to our shared values and the legacy of Jonathan, who led by example in the classrooms, on the ice, and on the lacrosse field.
Detective Diller's exemplary service as a police officer and dedication to his family and the community will be remembered through this scholarship as a lasting tribute. It will provide a life-changing opportunity for deserving students who embody the qualities that mirror Detective Diller's character in pursuing academic achievement, athleticism, teamwork, Catholic faith, and service. Jonathan formed many of these qualities during his time at St. Mary's, which he carried forward in his adult life, ultimately as a hero who lost his life in the line of duty on March 25, 2024.
