Kathleen Fabio Memorial Scholarship
Mrs. Kathleen Fabio, the mother of Rob '14, Tim '16, and Kelly '21, and wife to School Advisory Board Member Mr. Robert Fabio passed away in December of 2020 after a seven-year battle with ovarian cancer.
Kathleen was a loving mother to her children, loving wife to her husband Rob, and a true champion of Saint Mary's High School.
Kathleen grew up in Bellerose Queens. After graduating from St. Francis Preparatory School, she attended Adelphi University. She met and married the love of her life Rob soon thereafter, and they settled in Stewart Manor, where they would raise their three children.
Together with her husband, Kathleen was a zealous proponent of Catholic education, sending her three children to their parish elementary school (St. Anne's) and then to St. Mary's High School.
Kathleen will always be remembered at St Mary's for her avid support of our High School. Whether it was attending Ladies' Night Out, serving as a Gaels Parent Leader, or spreading the good word in her community about the lifelong benefits of the Catholic education we provide, Kathleen could always be counted on to support St. Mary's.
