Great literature opens our minds and our hearts, deepening our understanding of ourselves, our world, and all of God's Creation.

The Summer Reading Program at St. Mary's High School provides students the opportunity to experience great literature during the summer months before entering each grade level. It is our hope that, as an extension of our school curriculum, this program will continue to encourage all students to become lifelong readers and learners. Reading assignments and note-taking instructions are posted on MySchoolApp. Students must read all books assigned for their grade level, write hand-written notes on each book, and take an essay test on the assigned readings during the first week of classes in September.

Student Government Association's Virtual Game Night

On Friday, June 5th, the Student Government Association, in conjunction with St. Mary's faculty, hosted a Virtual Game Night. Several groups of students were divided into virtual teams via Google Meet, with a faculty member and SGA member present to play along with the fun.

The Commencement Ceremony for the Saint Mary's High School, Manhasset Class of 2020, premiered on Saturday, June 6th with classmates, families, faculty, administrators, clergy, and staff watching joyfully from home to celebrate and honor their collective perseverance, strength, unity, faith, and achievements.

Celebrating our Seniors with a Car Parade!

The Saint Mary's campus came alive on Wednesday, May 20th as we welcomed the Class of 2020 and their families back for our first-ever car parade! Administrators, faculty, staff, and clergy were on hand to greet the class for their first time back to the school since March 12, when the decision was made to discontinue school due to the global health crisis.
